Siansational

Started working for 2 weeks already and i'm getting into the hang of things. Made lotsa new friends both young and not so young and i've had quite a lot of fun during this period of time. Work is getting really routine and everyday feels the same some how. Being a cashier is quite a though job. Since counting money is a huge responsibility cause any lack will mean $ deducted from your meager pay.

Customer service is one other thing that irritates me. After trying to be as polite and as helpful as possible people are still bound to complain. I'm glad that the general population is alright but there always has to be that few people who'll spoil your day. Either you're too slow or you didnt remind them which credit card to use (although its not your responsibility to) etc. The list can goes on. This has really thought me to be a patient person and to be more understanding to people in the service line considering all the nonsense people put them through.

Knowing new friends at your workplace also comes at a risk. I am relaticely puzzeled by an incident which happened just yesterday. We are actually just friends and this person messaged me casual sms'es throughout the day. Everything seemed ok. When i got home i chucked my hp aside as usual and i went off to watch TV and eat blah blah blah... Leaving all my messages unanswered. Little did i know that waiting a few hours for a reply might be offensive to some people. This triggered off some kinda hate from that person towards me. I am confused because the matter is not pertinent and it really wasn't that crucial that it needed an immediate reply. Any opinions on where i've gone wrong...?

Being in a new environment also lets me meet a lot of people from different backgrounds and lifestyles ranging from gays to trannies to some really friendly and nice people. The gay guy told me really perv stories about he and his boyfriend and his cat which was funny and disgusting at the same time. Haha. And the trannies are just scary. I hope i dun get too homophobic cause i've gotta learn to work with anyone and everyone.

Apple!!! You're so far away now.... Hai. Really really wanna join you in australia to study cause thats one of my wishes. But im afraid it will take at least 2 years before it comes true. Haha. Go make friends with the aussies k? They are nice people.

To Deph and Teng... You guys will always be my good friends no matter what and no matter how little we see or talk to each other. =D

To all SC4 people wishing ya a Happy belated CNY!

Trish we must have a majong session soon k?!? Sorry but last week i was really busy.
